DIY Button Beaded Bar Necklace

Lets see... If there was no title in the cover picture, would you guess that buttons can be combined beautifully with beads? Or even better, would you guess what the third material with the beige shade is in the bar necklace? I guess not...buttons are amazing materials and sometimes it is not that obviously that it is a button. Like these wooden buttons...don't you think?

Εαν δεν υπήρχε τίτλος στην πρώτη εικόνα της ανάρτησης, θα μαντευατε ότι τα κουμπια μπορουν να συνδυαστούν με ημιπολύτιμες πέτρες; Ή ακόμα καλύτερα, θα καταλαβαίνατε τι είναι το τρίτο υλικό σε μπεζ απόχρωση στο κολιέ; Φαντάζομαι πως όχι... τα κουμπιά είναι απίστετυα υλικά και καμια φορά δεν ξεχωρίζουν καν. Όπως αυτά τα ξύλινα κουμπάκια που βρηκα.... τι λετε;

Gemstone beads ( I have used a large bead from white volcanic lava and two beads from lilac agate)

Υλικά

- Χάντρες ( στο κολιε αυτο χρησιμοποιησα μία χάντρα λευκης λάβας και δυο χάντρες αχάτη σε λιλα απόχρωση)

- Επίχρυση αλυσίδα

- Γράνες

- Επίχρυσα κρικάκια

- Επίχρυσο κούμπωμα

- Μυτοτσίμπιδα για κοσμήματα

Let’s prepare the beaded bar of the jewel. In case you do not have an eyepin (like I did) just cut the ends of the pin you have and create with the round nose plier two loops.

Ας ετοιμάσουμε για αρχή την μπάρα με τις χάντρες. Στην περίπτωση που δεν έχετε γράνα με θηλιά στην άκρη ( όπως εγω) χρησιμοποιειστε μία γράνα με κεφαλή και κοψτε την, ώστε με το στρογγυλό μυτοτσίμπιδο να σχηματίσετε και στο δευτερο άκρο θηλια.

Pass the beads and the buttons in the pin ( I have passed the lilac agate, then two wooden buttons, then the lava bead and then the two buttons and the lilac agate bead again) and the bead bar is ready! Easy right?

Περάστε τις χάντρες στη γράνα ( αρχικά τον αχάτη, μετα τα δύο κουμπάκια, τη λευκή λάβα, άλλα δυο κουμπάκια και κλείνουμε με τον αχατη πάλι) και η μπαρα σας είναι έτοιμη! Ευκολο;

Now let's complete the necklace. Cut a piece of the chain in a length smaller than the desired final length (just do not forget that lobster, jump rings and the beaded bar will add more length in your jewel). Use a jump ring and connect the beaded bar with the gold plated chain. Repeat this for both ends.

Τώρα ας ολοκληρώσουμε το κολιε. Κόψτε ένα κομμάτι αλυσίδας σε μήκος λίγο μικρότερο από το επιθυμητό ( γιατί το κούμπωμα , οι κρίκοι και η μπάρα θα μεγαλώσουν το μήκος του κοσμήματος). Συνδέστε με ένα κρικάκι την μπάρα με την αλυσίδα και στις δύο πλευρες.

Check where is the middle of the chain and cut it. Use again two jump rings to connect the chain with round lobster (or any lobster).

Βρείτε περιπου τη μέση της αλυσίδας και κόψτε στο σημειο αυτο. Και πάλι βάλτε δυο κρικάκια και συνδέστε με την αλυσίδα το κούμπωμα.
